Was h/h-ing Arachni's Haunt HM and was in the first/second chamber where you need to burn the webs to get to the next area. I ran around for a good 10 minutes killing all these foes I didnt need to, trying to find the Flaming Brazier to light the Asura Flame Staff...then I realised that the Staff is already lit -.-

Recently, I just completed the Elite SkillHunter titles (last night, actually). I can't tell you how many times I've ran out to go cap an elite skill, get to the boss, kill him, then try to cap, only to realize I forgot to change my secondary!

Running gimmicky PS sin in RA, well since it's Random and I had TERRIBLE luck that day 11 games with no monks on my team, all but 1 had a half competent monk on theirs. No rits either. In about 8 of the matches I had an ally running either melee fire ele, "tank" warrior, or ranger spamming dshot on recharge. I don't think he interrupted a single thing.
And the economy thread of course, but that's just a massive troll. I can't believe so many ppl fed it. /facepalm

Running a WE hammer build and bringing shield bash, then wondering why I was getting my arse handed to me by a BB sin repeatedly. What a glorious moment it was for me to discover I didn't have a shield.

A little joke in my Guild was "LFG for A Meeting With the Emperor". The quest literally is just walking up to the Emperor, talking to him, then going back for your reward.

Edit: This is the opposite of recent, in fact it was probably my first facepalm while playing Guild Wars.

So here is my story:

I was trying to get the mods off of my chaos gloves because I needed them for another set of gloves that I just bought. So, without really looking, I clicked on a salvage kit and started getting the mods off of the gloves. Unfortunately though I didn't notice that it wasn't a perfect salvage kit I was using. There went 75 ecto and all I got in return was 21 glittering dust.

I was in Kamadan talking to a friend. After he went afk I decided to sell my crystalline sword. It took me almost 2 hours of spamming to realize that I was actually pm'ing my friend that whole time...

I was standing in Kamadan and some newbie was spamming local with "WTB iboga petals". Several people told him off and said they would report him if he kept spamming. Then some guy started going at him, telling him where they dropped and to go to Kamadan to sell them. He even said it again. I wonder if he ever realized he was in Kamadan.
